A Free Masterclass for Difficult Times

What to Do When You Don’t Know What to Do

A free master class with Guest Teacher, Malcolm Campbell.

The world feels upside down, lately; we can all agree on that. And that unrest takes a toll on our minds, our bodies, our energy levels, our confidence, and our emotions. You're normal if you’re struggling with focus. You're normal if your light of optimism is flickering. You're normal if your exhaustion and your grief are so entangled that you can't tell the difference anymore. And, you're normal if it's feeling like it's too much for human beings to take in.

What to Do When You Don’t Know What to Do is for humans who would like to look at coping and thriving within the current times with self-love, compassion, humor, and dignity.  This free masterclass is designed to allow you space for the self-compassion that will help you navigate these times. You’ll gain tools and practices to realign with joy so that you can have the energy and passion required to not just soldier on, but to make a difference in the unique way that only you can.

Grace Kraaijvanger, Founder of The Hivery is proud to bring guest teacher, mentor and friend, Malcolm Campbell together with you for this free online workshop (open to all!) during a time that we need some extra support, some TLC, and the deep wisdom of a teacher who has committed his career to helping people feel good. As someone who answers the question, “How are you?” with the response, “I am ridiculously wonderful.” Malcolm has mastered the art of bringing joy into all facets of life (even times like these) and is eager to share with you how you can do the same.

In this free, one-hour masterclass on finding our way in all of this with joy intact, Malcolm Campbell, Cognitive Psychotherapy Practitioner, and Aging Counselor will guide you on tools you can utilize to manage your emotions and find balance and flow, even during challenging times.

Facilitated by Malcolm Campbell of The Art of Thought

The goal of this free masterclass is that you come to see your life as the spectacular, amazing, and joyful experience it can be.

In this masterclass, you’ll learn:

  • Valuable ideas and techniques on integrating joy from great thinkers and teachers, as well as some of Malcolm’s own learnings from more than 30 years of psychotherapy, process therapy, and spiritual practice.

  • How to find the intelligence of your emotions, especially during times of turmoil or upset.

  • And, ways and reasons to manage negative states when they do show up.

We’ll confront the idea that even when the world feels daunting, you can still move the Universe!  (That’s because your experience of the Universe is made meaningful in your mind!).

This workshop is based on the fundamental and critical truth that It is okay and appropriate for you to feel good. Malcolm will share with you why that’s not only okay but is your obligation to yourself and how that joy or feeling good can strengthen your contribution to the people you can serve, impact, and your many communities.

You don’t have to be a member of The Hivery to attend this free workshop. This is a gift from us to you as we all navigate challenging times.

A Note From Malcolm About Finding Joy When the World is Chaotic

One of my early teachers said to me, “Show me a happy person and I’ll show you a significant spiritual achievement.” It took me years to understand that statement. And through that work, I have found a beautiful methodology for integrating joy into modern times, even of the chaotic variety.

I’ve studied any number of spiritual models, some at depth and some casually, including three sects of Buddhism (there are thousands of sects!), Christian metaphysics, New Thought religions, and countless casual writings of different thinkers. I began to see that the essence of the teachings resolves to loving oneself. And that is where one finds real happiness and a sense of well-being, at any and every age.

Most of us have very limited images of ourselves; they developed as we were taught while growing up. Those limited images, or beliefs, constrain us from reaching an understanding of ourselves as the amazing, magnificent beings that every person is.

Spirituality is the work of moving in that direction, of learning to appreciate the value of the gift that is you. As we experience more of the fabric of life, we can connect even deeper with that true understanding of ourselves and master the art of tuning in and bringing forth joy, together.
