2021 Planning Workshop: Let’s start fresh.
Well, 2020...you were certainly a roller coaster. While we know that 2021 will have its’ ups and downs, we are ready to look to the future and start planning the next chapter! Let’s gather and create a 2021 plan for your business, book, next chapter, non-profit, or creative pursuit.
How does this sound?
Set aside a morning to learn how to map your 2021 plan so that you can:
Create a plan for spending more time being truly present with family and friends, instead of worrying about your business.
Attract the ideal clients you want to work with and generate more profit
Learn an approach to daily and weekly planning that makes you feel calmer, more centered, and productive.
Learn how to build focus and creative flow into your days, quarter, and year.
Learn how to grow your team, delegate and create standard operating procedures.
You’ll know this is for you, if:
You feel burnt out from the year and like you’ve fallen (even a little) out of love with your business.
You still feel busy, but not on the work that is most important to you.
You haven’t quite tapped into how you work with the customers you love or how to get paid what you’re worth.
You feel distracted and like you bounce from one action to another, without feeling a sense of completion or accomplishment.
The Back Story
Many of you have been pivoting alongside me as The Hivery has changed. I have certainly poured my energies into adapting to the times so that I could serve people like you who are creating meaningful work.
What I haven’t always shared though is the toll that the uncertainty took on me personally. The first few months of shelter-in-place, I felt untethered and rudder-less, as if I had suddenly lost sight of my role in my own business. I was down in the dumps, to say the least.
It was a time of tears, soul-searching, wondering, and many sleepless nights. But slowly, during that time, something started to take shape amidst the uncertainty...and that something was a plan. A plan to rebuild, reconnect, reemerge, and continue on.
Building our newly enhanced virtual membership, The Hivery Circle, writing my book, and leading and teaching our Incubator in a new format all gave me energy and a new north star. But you know what excited me the most? That I had a plan...a direction….a guide toward my vision. While creative thinking and time to ponder and meander is extremely important, it’s also important to clearly activate your vision and deepest desires in the form of a plan.
You’ll instantly feel more grounded and anchored and READY for the gifts that 2021 has in store.
When we don’t have a plan, that’s when we can feel like:
Time is being wasted.
Your workday can feel chaotic
You might feel the overwhelm of business clutter.
It’s challenging to prioritize what to do
You might feel unfocused, foggy, or even resentful of your business.
You can get sucked into the social media rabbit hole, instead of doing the deep work you were meant to do.
You don’t know where your money is going or coming from
You feel out of touch with your ideal clients or customers
You aren’t sure what to do next.
You aren’t sure what happened to the month, quarter or year.
With a plan in place, you’ll feel:
Organized and in control of your time
Able to prioritize your tasks weekly
Flexible and agile to handle the unexpected
Clear on your revenue goals and what it takes to get there.
Clarity around your offerings and ideal customer
Able to delegate and ask for help
Connected to your deeper why for starting your business or book in the first place
So, let’s plan together!
Here’s an overview of what we’ll cover:
VISION: At this time next year (2021) what does success look like? Recenter on your values so that you enter the new year committed.
TIME: Assess how you currently use your time and where your energy goes, so that your plan of action is aligned with how you want to feel and show up in 2021.
SALES AND MARKETING PLANNING: What is your sales and revenue forecasting strategy? Set income targets and how to achieve them each quarter. Plan your editorial calendar and content themes.
PROCESS AND SOPS: Where can you tighten your process, delegate and create standard operating procedures?
GOALS, PROJECTS, AND TASKS: What is the difference between your goals, projects, and tasks and how those key differences are a critical component of building a successful and achievable plan.
HELPERS: What community support can you put in place to make your goals happen?
