Our mission is to elevate the voices of women, and to reimagine a world where business and growth can be built from a place of kindness, community, and support. If you’re into that, we welcome you. We believe that inclusion is inclusion and while we are fully committed to women’s empowerment, all gender identities are welcome in The Hivery Circle. You are welcome here for who you are, exactly as you are; we promise. Every person should come to The Hivery as their authentic kind self and The Hivery community exists to help you elevate your voice, be seen for who you are, and support you in making an impact.

You don't have to have everything figured out to come to The Hivery. We love seekers, explorers, builders and those looking for their next chapter. Many members come to The Hivery as part of their quest for clarity and for the support and encouragement for exploring what to do next.

We have members across the spectrum of experience and business expertise. We believe that everyone has wisdom and talent to share and that reciprocal mentorship (I teach you, you teach me) has an extraordinary impact. You’ll meet people who are farther along on their business journey and people who have pivoted from one zone of genius to another. Our community has Ted speakers, CEO’s, best-selling authors, well-known founders, and everything in between.

We have created a hybrid of in-person and virtual events to meet your needs (and yes, Zoom fatigue is real!). You’ll find recurring in-person gatherings at our favorite partner spaces (lovingly called Hivery Hubs) starting in the Bay Area with big plans to expand. Virtual events are there when you need them, but the membership offers so much more than an hour-long Zoom. The community and resources are a huge value, even if you never attend a single event (although we’d love to see you!). And, when you need a zoom-cation, but want to catch up on something you missed later, we record our classes so you can watch when the zoom-mood is right for you. We typically offer 2-3 in-person opportunities each month in the area. If you live outside the Bay Area, or simply want to host a Hivery gathering, get in touch with us!

We have members from all industries – anywhere from website development to public relations to nutrition to gaming engineering to fashion design and more! We also have a wide ranging variety of business owners in different stages of their development. Some are self-employed freelancers in the early stages of their business, while others are in later stages with well-established companies. Our writers and creatives range from best-selling authors and established artists to those who are just getting started.

Not at all! While the foundation of our business used to be our in person spaces in Mill Valley and San Francisco, the COVID-19 pandemic gave us the opportunity to shift. We always had an option of a community membership that was virtual but we pivoted in 2020 to create The Hivery Circle, a vibrant online community full of content, resources, deep connections, and a place to truly belong, whether you are located in the Bay Area or anywhere around the world. We have restructured with the global community in mind, providing recordings of events so you don’t have to watch live if the time doesn’t work for you, investing in a new platform so we can have our own private community and reach out to any member at any time, and so much more. We are thrilled to have the chance to expand our community beyond the Bay Area and would love to have you in The Hivery Family.

While we don’t provide refunds, you can cancel at any time (although we think you’ll love it and stay!). If you choose our month-to-month, all you have to do is tell us you’d like to cancel and you will not be billed any further. Some members choose our annual option because they want the savings of 2-months free. Please note that both the monthly and annual membership are recurring subscriptions, so they will renew automatically if you don’t cancel. We don’t think you’ll want to cancel, but if you do, just contact us at [email protected] and we’ll help!

Once you sign up for The Hivery Circle you will create an account, log in, view the welcome info to learn all about what’s in store, and gain access to our dynamic community, all of our tutorials, masterclasses, and fireside chats. You’ll be able to register for events you’d like to attend (via zoom and IRL) and will be sent an email on how to make your member directory profile so that other members can find out more about how to collaborate, meet, work, partner, or hire you. Then the world is your oyster! One thing that makes us different is we encourage our members to promote their work. We want members to know what you’re doing and how they can work with you.

The next step is to participate! Think of it like a gym for your work, inspiration, and soul...you’ll get out what you put in! Join in on the conversations in the community, take part in events that fit your schedule, watch masterclasses and fireside chats on your own time, download resources, and make lasting connections.
